In 1999 a phenomenon was born, The world was introduced to the lakeside resort town of Silent Hill, and the deeply ominous and eerie mysteries within it. Konami had created what would later go on to be one of the most successful game franchises in the world, each one delving deeper and deeper into the mythology and dark alleways of a forgotten town.The game was developed by the now infamous Team Silent, a team who's work on the series has been sorely missed in recent years, and who's imminent return will be most welcomed. These games rely heavily on psychological horror, putting the everyday character in nightmare situations and making the player imagine what they would do in such a situation. It has become the staple for survival horror games over the years, depending on character backstory and the town's claustrophobic atmosphere, rather than one on one combat and action. Silent Hill is easily one of the scariest series in games you`ll ever play.
